Healthy “Salad” Smoothie Recipe

If you have a good blender, such as one of the KitchenAid 5 Speed Blenders with Polycarbonate Jars, there is no reasonstrip that fat why you cannot have a tasty smoothie without straying from your well balanced meal plan. This is where this Healthy “Salad” Smoothie Recipe comes in!

What You Need:

  • 1 (8 oz) container plain yogurt
  • 1 cucumber, peeled, seeded and chopped
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 1 stalk of celery, chopped
  • 3 romaine lettuce leaves
  • 1 TBSP onion, minced
  • 6 ice cubes
  • Salt and pepper to taste

How to Make It:

  1. Place the yogurt into the blender.
  2. Add all the vegetables.
  3. Place the ice on top.
  4. Puree until smooth.
  5. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Blend slightly to mix in the seasoning.
